Residential Development Pipeline

Qikmaps PROPERTY provides a snapshot of residential development projects, showing the project name, a brief description (where available), dominant dwelling type, and status. 

This data is compiled from local government planning registers and includes construction project lead data from BCI Australia (Lead Manager).

New Housing Hotspots

The creation of new addresses provides an indication of how property parcels are going to be subdivided prior to entering the property development pipeline.

Business Geographics collates quarterly data sourced from the Geocoded National Address File (G-NAF), Australia's authoritative address database. New address points created in the past 12 months are displayed against the existing property parcels to show areas of subdivision, future development activity and population growth.

Retail Outlets

Qikmaps PROPERTY includes significant retail outlets to help identify the proximity of retail services to specific locations of interest and to help identifyany gaps in retail provision.

The retail outlet dataset includes the major supermarket chains, petrol stations and convenience stores. In addition, the Shopping Centres layer shows the location of Shopping Centres with the estimated GLA and number of retail tenancies.

Vehicle Traffic Counts for major roads are also provided.

Qikmaps PROPERTY users can select each zoning feature to view the standardised zone category Business Geographics has applied, the original zone description and the original data source (typically the local planning authority).
